EMA Energy Management in Practice Training Programme (LEC 3)

The EMA training courses have been developed for individuals interested in gaining a knowledge needed to operate effectively as an energy manager in a workplace. The courses are intended for candidates who are:

  • Up-skilling their existing energy management knowledge and skills
  • Re-skilling from other professions such as sustainability, environment, facilities and engineering
  • Interested to become energy managers
  • Newly appointed energy managers

The courses have been developed and are delivered by experienced energy managers.

Knowledge and Skills' Gap Analysis Interview

The aim of the Gap Analysis Interview is to match and compare candidates' knowledge and skills that they currently have against those that are needed for their role of well-rounded energy managers and their long term professional development. Candidates who demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and experience of energy management will be awarded an EMA Recognised Energy Manager EMA Recognised Energy Manager professional status. As a result of the Interview, candidates will also receive a verbal and written feedback, advice and guidance on what courses to focus in order to advance their energy management knowledge.

Format: video conference discussion lasting approximately 60-90 minutes
