OPERATIONAL CONTROLS REVIEW FOR GREATER ENERGY EFFICIENCY – IBSTOCK PROJECT:  EMA Workshop – 27 June 2024, 11:00-12:00, EMA Live Virtual Event

Ibstock plc is a manufacturer of clay bricks and concrete products with operations in the UK and an ambition of becoming a net zero business by 2040.

Ibstock’s Group Energy Manager, Richard Capper works across the business to identify and quantify operational efficiency and initiate changes to optimise their processes, and in this practical workshop he will provide an overview of his project that focused on reviewing operational controls of the significant energy users. The workshop will explore how the operational review was conducted, what significant energy users were identified, what energy savings and carbon emission reductions were identified in systems such as air compressors, motors, and drivers, and how these will be achieved.

The workshop will offer an opportunity to ask questions.
