FELLOWSHIP STATUS
EMA Fellowship is the highest level of the EMA membership structure and as such it is foreseen for those whom have been awarded this status to play a crucial role in the delivery and maintenance of the EMA aims and objectives to:
- Champion and drive forward the energy management agenda, sector and profession.
- Enhance and provide direction on vision of the profession.
- Develop appropriate documents, guides, events’ content, standards and policies to support the development of the energy management sector and profession.
- Support new entrants in the energy management sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Those approved as EMA Fellows are subject to the following responsibilities.
- EMA Fellows are required to keep their employer and contact details up to date.
- EMA Fellows are required to adhere to the EMA Membership Terms and Conditions.
- EMA Fellow status is subject to renewals every 3 years.
- On an annual basis, EMA Fellows are required to actively engage with the EMA through:
- joining the EMA Fellows Group; and/or
- engaging on providing topical content through EMA channels; and
- participating in a bi-annual fellowship survey.
RENEWAL PROCESS
The EMA Fellowship renewal is a two-step process outlined below.
Step 1 – Administration Fee
The renewal is subject to a payment of an administration fee. The fee, payable for 3 years, has been set at £120+vat. Those already belonging to an EMA working group or in full-time retirement will be exempt from the payment of the administration fee. Exemption due to full-time retirement can only be applied by contacting the EMA HERE.
Step 2 – Renewal Questionnaire
An online form which gives an opportunity to update the Fellows’ details and present evidence of activities undertaken during the required period in line with the Fellowship Responsibilities.
