Fiona Daly – National Sustainability Lead at NHS Improvement

Fiona is the National Sustainability Lead for NHS Improvement; a central NHS organisation working to deliver quality to the 236 NHS Trusts across England. Fiona has extensive experience working in the healthcare sector and has worked across the health and social care system for over 16 years. Having spent the past 8 years driving the sustainability programme at Barts Health NHS Trust and developing business opportunities for business and Trusts wishing to enhance the healthcare offering,  she is now focused on supporting the delivery of excellence across the NHS within Sustainability and energy efficiency. In her role, Fiona is tasked with leading the national programme on Sustainability within the provider sector, driving innovation and engagement, and providing NHS trusts with critical support to implement their sustainability programmes. Fiona is passionate about reducing health and social inequalities, establishing an estate that supports the transition to sustainable models of care throughout the NHS.
