2025 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Conversion Factors

The government has released the latest greenhouse gas (GHG) conversion factors. These emission conversion factors are intended for use by UK and international organisations when reporting greenhouse gas emissions for the year 2025.

The government conversion factor spreadsheets provide the values to be used for such conversions, and step by step guidance on how to use them. A new set of conversion factors is produced and published each year, together with a methodology explaining how the conversion factors are derived, and a paper explaining the major changes in the latest year’s factors.
