Description
NAVIGATING THE NEW DUoS AND TNUoS CHARGES, 12 October 2026, 11:00-12:00 (UK Time), EMA Virtual Event
Holding or requesting “spare” power capacity was relatively easy and inexpensive in the past, but the new Distribution Use of Service (DUoS) and Transmission Network Use of System (TNUoS) charging structures can now make it significantly more expensive, especially for high voltage connections. The costs associated with the new charging structures have generally seen standing charges rise enormously. This can make it increasingly worthwhile for organisations to explore what energy management professionals can do to reduce these charges for both new and existing connections, while ensuring that sufficient capacity remains available.
The workshop will explain the new charging regime, its implications for organisations, and the practical steps that can be taken to limit the impact of the charges.
The workshop will offer an opportunity to ask questions.
