The entry should reflect excellence in the use of data, digital systems, technical expertise and operational insight to optimise energy use, improve efficiency, and support carbon reduction goals. The category is specifically intended for internal and embedded roles working directly within organisations, rather than external consultants or advisory providers.
Example roles include: Assistant Energy Manager, Building Performance Analyst, Carbon Data Analyst, Compliance Officer, Energy Administrator, Energy Analyst, Energy Data Analyst, Energy Data Manager, Energy Insights Analyst, Energy Officer, Energy Project Coordinator, Energy Systems Analyst, Energy Technician, Sustainability Analyst (energy or carbon data focus), Sustainability Coordinator, Sustainability Officer and Technical Support Engineer.

Energy & Sustainability Support Professional of the Year - Awards 2026
Entry forms for each award category should be completed in full, including only information relevant to the specific criteria to enable the judging panel to assess the merits, relevant supporting evidence must be supplied. Incomplete entry forms will be rejected. Any evidence to support the entry must accompany the EMA Energy Management Awards entry form submission.
Nominees and nominators do not need to be members of the EMA to enter the awards. For non-members, an entry fee applies for each submission. Entries are free of charge for individuals who hold a valid EMA membership.
