Head of Energy and Decarbonisation Strategy at Balfour Beatty

Victoria has experience across energy management and carbon reduction, and is currently leading delivery of Balfour Beatty’s Net Zero targets through energy & fuel efficiency, use of and infrastructure for electric & hydrogen technologies, and working towards an interim transition to the use of sustainable biodiesel.

Previously working for the RNLI, where Victoria focused on ensuring that the organisation is well placed to effectively manage and monitor energy consumption whilst working to identify and reduce energy wastage, and explore opportunities to reduce their carbon emissions. Victoria led programmes of behaviour change amongst staff and volunteers alongside technological installations, managing compliance with ESOS and re-tendering energy procurement services.

Prior to working for the RNLI Victoria worked for a building services consultancy providing sustainability advice, assessment and energy modelling for new build and refurbishment projects across commercial, education and residential sectors.
