BEIS Survey – Evidence on the heating contribution from reversible air-to-air heat pumps

Evidence on the heating contribution from reversible air-to-air heat pumps.

BEIS is gathering evidence on the heating contribution from reversible air-conditioners / reversible air-to-air heat pumps (i.e. air conditioners that provide heating and cooling) and needs your help.

BEIS intend to use this as evidence for the UK’s Renewable Energy Directive obligation, which requires the UK to provide 15% of energy from renewable sources by 2020.

Please help BEIS’s evidence collection by completing the online survey:

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete. If you cannot complete the survey, please forward the link to someone who will be able to. The evidence that BEIS requires includes energy use, running hours, efficiency, and heating capacity of your heating / cooling system – please be prepared to have access to data or use your professional expertise to provide an estimate of these factors to complete the survey.

The survey is being carried out by Delta Energy and Environment Ltd on behalf of BEIS. Like most of the research carried out for / by BEIS, the findings will be publicly available once the project has concluded.
